The holidays can be rough for a multitude of reasons, especially with how crazy 2020 has been. But as 2020 is wont to do, it rolled up with a Billy Mays voice and shouted, "But wait! There's more!"
Raeni, an active member of the FFXIV Crystal community, had their house burglarized while away for the Holiday. Many personal affects were stolen, including the equipment Raeni uses to do commissions, their sole form of income.
A statement from Raeni:
I hope your holidays have been well and you're all doing well and I'm sorry for the ping.
However, I returned home from my holidays today to find my house has been robbed. Luckily, I still have my pc tower as does my partner, but quite a lot else was taken from the house and, I hate to say, we have no way to replace it at the moment.
I really would appreciate if you can do anything to help me raise money in order to replace what was taken and overall just.. help us out. I really hate to ask for money in any form, but I will happily provide art for anyone who's able to help during this as soon as I can. Time are hard but I believe in this community. Even if we can raise a little money to help ease the financial burden of having to not only replace one's belongings but also take measures to make their home more secure, I believe it would make a huge difference!
