Thank you for visiting our 17th Annual March for Marrow Raffle! As Texas patients and family members we create these Patient, Family & Community events in Texas on behalf of the Aplastic Anemia MDS International Foundation, Inc. (AAMDSIF),
www.AAMDS.org. Last year, we got tornado-d out!!! We will keep our eyes to the sky and pray that that does not happen again!
As in the past, our purpose as Texas patients and families who have received life-giving support from AAMDSIF is fivefold:
1. Expand awareness of bone marrow failure diseases.
2. Create a support community among patients, families, and medical professionals in Texas.
3. Raise funds for AAMDSIF’s free programs and services that have benefited all of us.
4. Recruit potential marrow donor candidates through the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP).
5. Increase awareness of the premier doctors, nurses, and medical services for bone marrow failure disease support in Houston and in Texas.
This past April we raised almost $4,000 with our Raffle and $20,000 for the Patient & Family Services provided FREE of CHARGE by AAMDSIF.
