Racing, a lifelong dream for many, myself included. My mother always said I was at the track following Mitch Smith before I was even born. I’m certain breathing in the smell of Methanol, clay dust, rubber and track fries had a little to do with how I ended up with the #29 Wingless Super Sportsman. The sounds and smells of Racing are unique to our sport. The sound of healthy American powerhouses echoing for miles on Saturday nights rocketing clay balls toward unsuspecting fans brave enough to sit near a turn.

From the cockpit of the car the driver hears nothing but ear splitting music at 8000RPM and the occasional radio call from the flagman. Completely isolated from everything strapped in so tight every breath takes effort. As the thought of claustrophobia begins to enter the mind the green flag waves and all is forgotten but the pure power unleashed as you push the pedal. The car doesn’t want to listen to input as it fights for traction and the dance begins.

Racing does however come with difficulties not directly associated with on track events. To race you must first arrive. In order to arrive proper funding must be found. This year more than most Covid (yes I’m tired of hearing it to) has played a major factor in funding. Race teams especially Rookies are forced to get creative in locating funding sources. Traditional sponsors although available don’t always have the advertising income previously available. So I present to you this mutually beneficial opportunity.

Thank you
