The Woman Within Weekend is a powerful 48-hour immersion experience for women. It is a series of exercises, guided imagery and intense individual and group work leading to new perspective and insight. For some, it is the opportunity simply to be heard.  For others, it is having the space to experience profound emotions. Still for others, it is the rare experience of compassion and strength created by women joining together to accept, empower and honor themselves and each other. 

The Woman Within South Central USA region aims to provide women the opportunity to participate in this empowering weekend experience regardless of socio-economic means AND that means... scholarships. As a small, local non-profit WWSC relies on donations to keep the doors open and our empowering experiences available for women. The community strives to offer 5 $200 scholarships per weekend. That's $4000 a year! 

On each Woman Within Weekend, different colored bandanas are used and as you can imagine a few extras here and there begin to pile up in a beautiful rainbow of colors. A very generous, talented member of the South Central community knows I LOVE to quilt... and she reached out to me with the gift of this amazing quilt. A scholarship recipient herself, she had asked for the stack of leftover bandanas, made this lovely quilt and offered it to me to raffle off with only one request - that she remain forever anonymous... so, my lips are sealed... and now you get the chance to own the wonderful quilt and help other women give themselves the gift of the Woman Within Weekend. 

Tickets are $10 each & 12 for $100... my goal is to raise $4000 - enough to fund scholarships for a year. 

The raffle will be open from now through the April 2022 South Central Woman Within Weekend - the winner will be announced at the Weekend Celebration the week after the retreat.
