  • Poachers kill as many as 2.7 million African Pangolins every year
  • Much of the illegal trade involves their scales
  • A Pangolin can have anywhere from 382 to 940 scales depending upon the species
  • Large shipments of scales continue to be seized, some upwards of 12 tons
  • They are native to the continents of Africa and Asia
  • There are 8 species of Pangolins
  • They eat ants and termites
  • In 2018 there were only 50,000 still in existence
  • They are on the verge of extinction

Hi my name is AK. I am a 17-year old Foil Sculptor. When I first learned about the plight of the Pangolins, I knew I wanted to help in some way. Being a Foil Sculptor, I decided that creating a sculpture would be my way to help.

I created this Gorgeous Ground Pangolin Foil Sculpture. I've spent many hours handcrafting over 250 individual scales for this Ground Pangolin Foil Sculpture. She's looking for yummy ants and termites to eat, which are her favorite food. Her length is 26 inches and her width is 10.5 inches. She will look good on a table, desktop, or pedestal, and in a home or office.
