My name is Maya Moore and I am a senior at The Early College at Guilford, where I serve as president of campus life and the intramural coordinator for student council. I am very excited to start my life’s journey. My goal is to attend Rice University and major in sports management. After that, I would like to attend law school. I was inspired by my grandmother who taught me to persevere, no matter the situation.
I am a contestant in the 2020-2021 Jabberwock Scholarship Program sponsored by the Greensboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and in partnership with the Delta Research & Educational Foundation. Jabberwock is a cultural enrichment and entertainment activity distinctive to Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. This fundraising scholarship pageant has been in existence for many years and provides young ladies with the opportunity to raise funds for their college education, while participating in educational, cultural, and service oriented activities. Jabberwock will culminate with the presentation of the contestants on April 25, 2021. I look forward to being crowned this years Miss Jabberwock with your generous support and donations.
