Welcome to Fury Baseball's 1st annual COWabunga meat raffle to benefit Fury Baseball's 12U Gold team. In 2021, Fury Baseball is going national, and attending the coveted tournament in Cooperstown NY, at Cooperstown's Dreams Park. Capture.PNG 282.8 KBThis once in a lifetime opportunity requires a substantial investment due to the travel needed and the tournament fees, uniforms and housing conditions. Therefore, thanks to the generous donations by family members and sponsors, Fury Baseball is hosting their COWabunga raffle for a chance to win a grand prize package that includes various meat cuts from a hand fed angus steer from Warren County, IL. (Formerly known as the prime beef center of the world!). The steer produced 223.9 lbs. of various meat cuts that will be rolled into two prize packages. And for those nights that you'd like to rest the BBQ, Skuttlebutts has generously donated three $50 gift cards (one for each prize package).
The Grand Prize will get the majority of the meat cuts, equaling 180.9 lbs. and includes such cuts as Rib Eye, Sirloin, T-Bone, various roasts, and ground beef. In addition to the meat cuts, the grand prize package will also include a freezer to keep these meat cuts fresh and available, a new grill to cook them up on, and a Four Roses Bourbon prize package to enjoy. This Grand Prize COWabunga package will satisfy the grilling chef in the family and provide many evenings of prime meals.
A 2nd place prize package is 43 lbs. of ground beef and steak cuts with a new Weber grill, along with a Four Roses prize pack.
3rd place prize package is a YETI Tundra Haul hard cooler, stocked with local beers from Goldfinger and Ike & Oak breweries among the haul and a Four Roses prize package.
With three major prize packages to win, you can see the value in entering our COWabunga raffle. You can enter as many times as you want, and the more tickets you purchase, the more chances you have to win! Prize drawing will happen on National BBQ Day, May 16th!!! We will not be able to ship our prizes to the winners, however. Please plan on picking up your prize package, as that will be necessary to collect winnings. We can arrange for local delivery in the Downers Grove / Western Suburb area within reason.

The Prizes
GRAND PRIZE PACKAGE
The Grand Prize package includes 180.9 lbs. of a newly processed angus steer from Warren County, IL (formerly known as the prime beef center of the world). The cuts include; 79 lbs. of ground beef, 12.6 lbs. of short ribs, 11 lbs. of Rib Eye steaks, 7.7 lbs. of Sirloin steaks, 9.7 lbs. of T-Bone steaks, 26.7 lbs. of chuck roast, 12.7 lbs. of tenderized round steak, 5.6 lbs. of Sirloin Tip roast, 4 lbs. of Rolled Rump roast, 5.4 lbs. of stew meat, and the tongue and heart for the exotic meat lover! In addition, the grand prize winner will win a new grill for cooking up these amazing steaks and cuts! The grill is the Weber Spirit II E-210: Black Liquid Propane Grill. This grill features porcelain enameled bars, a cast iron cooking grate and 26,500 BTUs of heating power. Comes with the two attached side tables and electric starter.

2nd PLACE PRIZE PACKAGE
The second place prize isn't anything to scoff at!!! While not the smorgasbord that the grand prize is, the 2nd place winner will get 43 lbs. of various meat cuts, but more simplistic in nature. The 2nd place winner gets 25 lbs of grass feed ground beef, 2 lbs. of rib eye steaks, 4 lbs. of sirloin steak, 5 lbs. of T-Bone steak, and 2 lbs. of stew meat. With 43 lbs. of meat for cooking, this package will make a great summer BBQ party event or keep the family fed for a good month!
