The Baseco Children's Mission operates two Drop-in centers in poverty stricken areas. The Baseco Children's Mission provides the opportunity for homeless and poverty stricken children to wash clothes, take a shower and spend a few hours in a safe and secure environment. Our Hygiene guests are given toiletries, such as shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap. The Center is open weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, creating a welcoming environment to any child who walks through our doors.
DAILY BREAKFAST Every day our team prepares and serve a nutritional breakfast to severely malnourished children in the area
These kids are also enrolled in a daily multi vitamin program .
SUNDAY MEAL PROGRAM
Every Sunday, we mobilize our team of volunteers who prepare and serve over 500 nutritional meals at three locations to children at risk.
Many of these kids are exposed to drugs, alcoholism and domestic violence, These children are often beaten and abused and severely neglected at home. In their attempts to escape from the violence and neglect, they usually end up on the streets. These kids don't always come to our center so we hit the streets and go to them.
We provide healthy and nutritious meals and basic hygiene and first aid to these children.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Due to extreme poverty many of our children have limited access to basic school services and supplies. Both our Baseco and Tabun location offer on site tutoring, free school supplies and internet access. The children also have access of our media resources room which includes tablets, laptops and computers, along with tables chairs and work stations to help aid in their learning experience.
