The Paq'd Grocery Giveaway was created to help support families and bring holiday joy to individuals during the Covid-19 Pandemic.  In 2020, Bro. Adam "Pac" Jones envisioned helping families during the holiday season.  The men of Omega would take monetary donations and surprise unsuspecting grocery shoppers around the Houston, Texas area. These shoppers, chosen at random, would have their entire grocery purchase paid.  Adam shared this vision with the brothers of the Rho Beta Beta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, friends, and family who donated money to help with the initiative.  
 
 During the 2020 holiday season, we raised over $3,000.00 to give away during Thanksgiving and Christmas.  In 2021, the 2nd Annual Paq'd Grocery Giveaway returned bigger and better, receiving over $14,000 in donations and garnering media attention. KPRC Channel 2 news filmed and broadcasted our Thanksgiving event to the community.  

This year is even more important due to the lingering effects of the pandemic and rising food costs, which means we need your help.   The goal of the 3rd Paq'd Grocery Giveaway is to raise $25,000 to help support and surprise families this holiday season. The Thanksgiving edition of the Paq'd Grocery Giveaway collected $7500 in donations and was showcased on KHOU 11.  We are continuing with the Christmas edition of the Grocery Giveaway.  Thank you in advance for your generous donation to support our community!
