The Team
Piggy Stardust is a BBQ team of 45 "backyard BBQ" friends who live in and around the New Orleans, LA metro area.  Once a year, Piggy Stardust is one of 90+ teams that participates in Hogs for the Cause (www.hogsforthecause.org).  As a team, we raise money through bourbon raffles for families who have children that suffer from pediatric brain cancer.  Since inception in 2011, we have raised over $500,000 for the cause. 

The Charity
Hogs for the Cause is a 501(c)(3) organization that unites the barbecue community to support families while their children battle severe illness. To date, Hogs has distributed over $11 million in giving, including over 1,800 in direct grants to families fighting pediatric brain cancer and millions to hospital programs to renovate and expand their pediatric cancer units.  By working with children’s hospitals to build "Hogs Houses," Hogs offers a home away from home where families can stay while their children receive extended care.

The Bourbon Raffle
Tickets to this raffle start as low as $50.  The Grand Prize Winner will be drawn on Tuesday April 8th around 7PM CST and will take home all 31 bottles.  This entire collection is worth approximately $30,000.  Approximately ten 2nd place winners will also be drawn (prizes announced at a later date).
