When we talk about improving our union leadership, we need to ask ourselves: What’s the outcome? We are witnessing ambitious people from the opposition side running smear campaigns that paint negative pictures to discredit lifelong advocates of our labor movement.

Members are becoming disengaged, and they’ve stopped caring about the bigger picture due to a clear divide among our leadership ranks. I support our president George Gresham in his bid for re-election to guide us through these challenging times; as he’s always done!

We have a president of the United States who will do everything in his power to dismantle labor unions at the core. We are also at the tail end of our historic 18% raise increase, as we are heading to a bargaining table with a lot at stake.  We as a union need experienced negotiators at the helm of the table to ensure that we retain and improve the benefits, wages, and pensions that we deserve.
