Imagine cruising around with the ragtop down in a classic roadster. Family Centers will make this a reality for one lucky winner.
The classic 1951 MG-TD convertible was raffled at Family Centers' “Gatsby on the Sound” benefit in 2013. Serendipitously, it was donated back to us by the Day Family this year for our "Roaring Twenties" benefit, which will be held later this fall.
The car is in impeccable condition and features the original 1250-cc four-cylinder engine, leather interior, and 4-speed transmission.
Tickets are now on sale for $100 each. All proceeds from the raffle will benefit Family Centers’ 25 health, human service, and education programs. The winner does not need to be present at the “Roaring Twenties” event to claim the prize. For more information on the raffle or on attending the live drawing, contact Dina D'Amelio at firstname.lastname@example.org or 203-869-4848.
Co-chaired by Greenwich residents Kate Clark, Bri Hart, Susannah Heyworth, Ashley Reid, and Carter Simonds, Family Centers’ “Roaring Twenties” benefit will be held on Saturday, September 18 at 6:30 p.m. at a private residence. For more information or to become a sponsor, visit www.familycenters.org
