Mark Alan Dix Custom Tribute Rifle

Mark Dix was born on October 5, 1957, in Fort Polk Louisiana. Mark was 63 years young when heaven called upon him on September 4, 2021. Mark was a noble man who leaves behind a lovely wife, daughter, son, and many other friends and family that cherished their time and experiences with him. He may be gone, but we can never forget what a lasting impact he’s made in this world and our lives.
Mark worked for the Tulsa Department for nearly 28 years before retiring. He took on the job of Firefighter, Aircraft Rescue, and First Responder. On 9/11, Mark was on duty at the airport in Tulsa when it went on lockdown. Mark Dix continued to protect and serve his family and the community with courage and honor.

Mark also served our country in the Oklahoma Air National Guard as Staff Sargent, Crew Chief, and Aircraft Rescue Fighter from 1980-1992. Selfless in nature, Mark provided service to the Boy Scouts of America Troop 412 from 2006-2012.

Growing up in Oklahoma, Mark attended Tulsa Community College and Union High School.
Mark Dix is strong in his faith, a God-fearing man, and today we share his favorite passage:
“The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.” 1 John 2:17
