Tyler Joseph Daniel Edwards was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Monday, July 29, 1991 to Troy Linn and Kelly (Thompson) Edwards. He passed from this life to his eternal home in heaven on Thursday, June 3, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 29.
Tyler came from a large family, one of twelve children. He grew up in Tulsa and Coweta, graduating from Coweta High School in 2010. He had a very animated personality even as a young boy. He grew up hunting, fishing, wrestled from the 4th Grade all the way through high school. Tyler also loved playing disc golf and camping with his family. He was one of those boys who loved taking things apart, and sometimes even put them back together.
He met the love of his life, Jessica and they married on May 16, 2015 in Catoosa, Oklahoma. Tyler was the proud father of their son, Linn, who was born in 2016. He and Linn loved acting silly and pulling pranks on Jessica. His family describes him as a friend in a time of need, had a huge heart for people, was very funny, thoughtful, and sacrificed for his family on numerous occasions. Tyler and Jessica attended New Heart Fellowship Church in Broken Arrow for several years together.
After high school, Tyler attended and graduated from Tulsa Welding School. He worked at a Shop Supervisor/Welding Inspector for Vacuworx in Tulsa. Tyler was very hard working and took pride in his job. He convinced his boss to purchase a welding robot and Tyler thought it was the coolest thing ever. Tyler’s son, Linn, spent a lot of time at work with his dad, and even learned how to control the robot. Tyler will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Hunter and Will discussed with Seth Edwards, Tyler's brother, and we all worked together to create a storm trooper rifle design. All proceeds of this rifle will go to Tyler's wife and boy. Pictures will be added once the design of the rifle is finalized. Thank you all for the help and support!
