This raffle is being organized to raise operational funds for the non-profit organization - - GUYASPON INC, which is the operational component of the Facebook group, Guyana, A Story of Pictures, Old and New. This fundraising raffle is based in the United States of America and is subject to the laws and regulations applicable to holding a raffle, based in the State of Maryland. Funds realized from this raffle, over and above the cost of the raffle and prizes, will be used to fund multiple projects which the group has identified. Among such projects are:
1.. The Guyana Virtual Hall of Fame Interactive Website 2. The establishment of the Guyana Travel Group and Travel Club 3. The sponsoring of a "Unity - Variety Show & New Year's Eve Celebration" which we are planning to have on New Year's Eve of 2021. 4. The establishment of a contingency fund to assist Guyanese Individuals and Families who are faced with current situations of extreme stress and dislocation.
