The Beauty Backed Trust fundraising initiative began in 2020 to support the independent businesses and entrepreneurs in the beauty industry who were directly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. After a successful launch, which saw £600,000 raised for the Hair and Beauty Charity, Beauty Backed has since evolved into a Trust which aims to assist everyone and anyone who works, or who wants to work, in the beauty industry. With beauty contributing £28 billion to the British economy each year, the Beauty Backed founder, Caroline Hirons, and Trustees passionately believe this is a valuable industry which is too often ignored or overlooked. The goal of Beauty Backed Trust is to change this way of thinking and provide a means to support everyone in the beauty industry.

We are raising money to support out Grant Programme which we will be launching at the end of September. We will be running two Grant Programmes:

The support grant will be available to businesses/freelancers with established businesses that need financial assistance following the impact of the pandemic. 

 

The start-up grant will be available to those wanting to get into the industry, with a focus on those that have lost jobs during the pandemic and are looking to start on their own.
