The AANR Education Foundation, a completely separate corporation and IRS approved as a 501.c.3 not for profit, was created in 2002 by AANR visionaries of the need for education, research, art and scholarships. The Foundation provides grants and scholarships to organizations and individuals that support the Foundation's goals and objectives, which are to educate the public about the values and benefits of nude recreation and to ensure an understanding of nudism and its rightful status as a social and recreational practice.
The Prizes
Anna Rappaport painting
An original ink and oil pastel painting, created and generously donated by naturist Anna Rappaport and inspired by her time at the Lake O'the Woods in Indiana. "The initial drawing was done with a large brush and a brown ink. The colors were put in using Caran d'Ache Neopastels, a very soft lovely oil pastel." These fine materials were placed on a special light blue Japanese rice paper from the legendary Aiko's art store in Lincoln Park, Chicago. While the brick and mortar Aiko's store closed in 2008, the quality of this special paper lives on with Anna's art presenting not only the quality of materials used but Anna's superb artistic skills as well. With a style similar to Charles Burchfield, this painting will grace the home regardless of your decorating style. Framed and matted; outside dimensions are 26" wide by 24 1/2" high.Anna Rappaport painting
