AKARAMA Foundation, Inc. Resource Development and Fundraising Committee is excited to announce its Wants and Need Raffle. The proceeds will support our community programs of service focused on Education, Health and Wellness, Building Your Economic Legacy, the Arts, and Global Impact.
The AKArama Foundation, Inc. seeks to make a difference in the Chicagoland Community by providing service programs to address the needs of the community and awarding scholarships to deserving students. Established in 1981, AKArama Foundation, Inc. is the non-profit 501(c3) entity of Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

Per IRS rules and regulations, the amounts paid for chances in raffles, lotteries, or similar drawings for valuable prizes are not gifts. Therefore, ticket purchases do not qualify as deductible charitable contributions.
Members of the AKArama Foundation, their families as defined by the IRS statute, spouses, grandparents, children, and grandchildren may not win any prizes.
September 5, 2022, at 11:00 pm EST is the last day for ticket sales. The winner of the drawing will be selected on September 6, 2022, at 8:06 pm EST. The chances of winning are based on the number of tickets sold. The Raffle Creator software platform will randomly select the winner.
