The Family Drive In was built by the Dalke family and opened in 1956. We still have the original screen, but it has seen better days. Every year we spend thousands of dollars to patch it up. Recently we have had several contractors come out and give us quotes on replacing the screen itself and the framing to which it is attached.

Due to the size and remediation expenses, we've been quoted a minimum of around $100,000 to restore the screen to it's full glory. In addition to our raffle, we will have some other fundraising opportunities, so be on the look out for those.

In 2021, we raised around $11,000 and hope to continue working towards our goal as we go into the 2022 season. 

This is just step one in a multi-year process to restore and enhance The Family Drive In so it can stay around for another 65 years. Thank you for being a part of what we are doing!

The Prizes

  • Private Event For You And All Your Friends

    The winner will get to come enjoy a double feature at the drive in on a Monday-Thursday of their choosing (subject to availability) in October/November of 2022.

    This private event gives the winner up to 100 cars of attendees and free popcorn for up to 300 people. We can play any two movies of your choosing that are on video, or any of the new films we are currently playing.

  • Five Car Party Pack

    We will select 5 additional winners who will enjoy entry for 5 vehicles, up to 4 people in each! Two drinks and two fresh popcorns are included for each vehicle! This will be during one of our regular movie nights. Invite your family and friends to enjoy a night under the stars with you! Valid for October/November 2022 and October/November 2023 (subject to availability).
