IMG_4578.JPG205.14 KBU-Town started when the world shut down, when kids were going nuts, no sports, no school, no socialization. It began as a great outlet for serious ball players and its turned into a family with a fine oiled machine of a baseball team. They condition HARD and practice harder. Played teams out of town they knew they couldn’t beat but went there anyways and gave 110% knowing that every inning they were getting better and better. They have become a band of brothers with so much love its amazing to watch. This group of elite young men have that “love for the game”, love the smell of the grass, getting dirty, the smell of the glove, the sound of a ball hitting the bat. That’s these kids. Because of that and their progression U-Town is getting to be very well known around California. Now we all have a chance to make their baseball dreams come true. U- Town has been invited to play in a tournament at the actual Field of Dreams in Iowa! Yes… that Field of Dreams. The same movie the kids makes their parents watch over and over and over again...that and The Sandlot! Its going to cost approx. $1500 per player (flight, hotel, entry fee, food…for player only). Please know that anything amount counts and we are so grateful for the support and love of our community and beyond! May the best donor win!!!
