6 months ago, I adopted a 2 year old Rottweiler named Dakota. She has quickly become part of our family and has stolen our hearts with her floppy cheeks and sweet puppy eyes. Our four other dogs have welcomed her into their pack and she has a forever home with our family. She went to the vet and returned with a clean bill of health but just a few short weeks after adopting her, we noticed Dakota had some swelling in her legs and lymph nodes. Fearing the worst, we returned to the vet over the course of several weeks for diagnostic testing and after switching vets and lots of tests, we still don't have answers or a confirmed diagnosis for her but we're left with seemingly endless vet bills and we still have no answers. Thankfully, her swelling is not as consistent as it was just a few weeks ago when her legs were more than twice their normal size which look much better now but her throat lymph nodes are consistently swollen and we still need to go to a specialist to hopefully get some answers and proper treatment. I've decided to raffle off my plant collection to raise funds for Dakota's existing and ongoing veterinary care in hopes of raising enough funds to cover these unexpected expenses which is already several thousands of dollars. I have a large and extensive personal collection of beautiful houseplants and if this raffle is a success, it will be the first of many more plant raffles to come.
Prize is a live plant and will only be shipped within the US. Raffle ends 9/30/21 at noon eastern.
Winner is responsible for additional postage costs of $20 plant will be shipped bare root with insurance.
