As this is a virtual raffle, once you have purchased your raffle(s), the system will generate a random raffle number for your entry. Summary of Terms and Conditions of the Raffle
Raffle is sponsored by the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Resurrection, 1400 Cedar Swamp Road Brookville, NY 11545 ("The Church"). All proceeds to benefit the Church. Purchaser agrees to abide and be bound by the Complete Official Raffle Rules and Restrictions ("Official Rules") and all decisions made by the Church. All federal, state and local laws apply. Only individuals, 18 years of age or older can purchase a raffle ticket. Only one name may be entered on each entry. Winners need not be present. Winners not at the drawing will be notified. No responsibility is assumed for lost, mutilated, illegible or non-delivered tickets. Entries without enough information to identify the purchaser or without proper and good payment will be deemed invalid and disqualified. Prizes must be claimed within 20 days after notification or prizes will be forfeited. Winners must present valid government issued photo identification, social security card, current address, telephone number and any other information reasonably required by Church to receive the prize. Winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility. Winning tickets may not be transferred, assigned or sold by the winner. No substitution or transfer of prize except in the sole discretion of the Church. Any and all federal, state and local taxes associated with the prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner and not part of the prize. Winners and winnings will be reported to New York State and the IRS. Winner should consult their tax advisor regarding obligation to pay income taxes. Every participant, and winner, releases, holds harmless and idemnifies the Church, its Board, officers, committee members, volunteers, employees, agents, vendors, representatives, any prize sponsors, prize donors, manufacturers, suppliers and retailers of any prizes, from any and all liability, claims, injury, loss, damages or causes of action with respect to, arising out of, or resulting from participating in this raffle, or from the awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use misuse of the prizes awarded, and further acknowledges that no representations, warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, were made or received, relative to any prize. The Church has sole right to decide all matters regarding the conduct of the raffle, determination of winners or awarding of prizes and its decision shall be final and binding upon all participants and winners. If less than 750 tickets are sold, the raffle's Grand Prize will be limited to $7,500. Only up to 1999 tickets to be sold!
