Hammond VFW Post 3652 has been in service of veterans and their families in the Tangi area and beyond for 50 years! Our operation is supported exclusively through donations from the community that we serve. Our members volunteer their time and receive no pay for their tremendous contributions to our work. For that reason, we utilize several means to generate donations to keep the lights on and provide the services to our veterans that we provide. In August we will hold our very first Bunco Night! These rifle raffles are an important annual raffle we run to generate much needed donations to cover our operating expenses and facility improvement projects. The bulk of this raffle will go towards paying off a loan that was taken out for an emergency plumbing job that resulted in a multi thousand dollar bill. We will also be looking at improving our parking situation at the post and finishing up renovating the inside by sealing and painting the floors!
