Riding on Faith Camp (ROF) began in 2009, in Maxwell, New Mexico, as a bull riding school that promotes the sport and the spread of God's love to the younger generation of cowboys. Riding on Faith is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization. ROF is focused on our students and the lasting relationships and positive interaction. The students' families are encouraged to come to be a part of ROF, as well. Student tuition to attend ROF camp is $450. This cost includes the entire week of lodging and all meals. Many of our students depend on donations to provide scholarships that allow them to attend. Generous donors, like you, ensure that these scholarships are available. We at ROF are so thankful for all of our supporters.
Riding on Faith is 100% organized and run by volunteers. Our volunteers provide world-class instruction, emergency medical care, home-cooked meals, ministry, and so much more.
In its inaugural year, Riding on Faith had 15 bull riding students. Along with the students, 30 family members attended. Since the first Riding on Faith camp, bullfighting, bareback, and saddle bronc have been included. In 2021 the total attendance for ROF was roughly 200 people. We have grown!
Our goal is to expand our facility to provide a world-class experience to everyone who attends adequately. We plan to build more bunkhouses, new shower facilities, expand our kitchen and move the arena to the land owned by Riding on Faith Inc. Relocating the arena will protect and ensure that the non-profit irrevocable trust can continue to grow and spread the love of God.
We are excited about our growth and look forward to reaching more people through Riding On Faith Camp. We invite you to partner with us on our journey. Together, we are ROF family.
