We have set a goal of raising $5000.

A large part of the Exceptional mission is to provide purpose and community to young adults with disabilities, regardless of ability to pay. 

-We fundraise to provide scholarships for families in the Enrichment Day and Summer Camp programs. 
-We fundraise to provide Better Together (a monthly program for individuals whose disabilities are so complex that they require one-on-one assistance) at no charge to families. 
-We fundraise to provide Family Navigators at no cost to families anywhere in Georgia, to help them prepare a sustainable future for their adult children with disabilities. 
-And we fundraise to open Exceptional Futures locations in areas of metro-Atlanta that are sadly lacking in programming for adults with disabilities. 

None of these programs would be possible without the generosity of our supporters. The Exceptional raffle is an easy way to contribute because for every ticket purchased, you have a chance to win $500 or 4 tickets and a hotel night for the Savannah Banana game on August 22, 2025! The Savannah Banana season is sold out, so this could be your only chance to attend an iconic game.

It’s not easy being “exceptional”... and it only gets harder as we get older. To put it mildly, the opportunities for individuals with special needs who have graduated out of their local school system are embarrassingly inadequate. After high school, most people will live a life full of stimulating activities and social interactions which most would argue are essential to live a meaningful and satisfying life. For adults with special needs, however, the situation is oftentimes the exact opposite. The social and recreational activities that were once provided during school hours are now often non-existent, leaving no way to occupy their time in a meaningful way. Exceptional Futures provides a solution to this serious and continually growing problem. The mission Exceptional Futures, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is to provide adults with disabilities an affordable, quality day to include health enhancing activities, intentional social interactions, and purposeful access to the community, regardless of ability to pay. 

Exceptional Futures strives to be a model for how the future for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities can be different, and better!
