The SDP Project was created in honor of my brother, Shawn Dimitri Paris who lived and served others. We are in year two of our annual fundraiser. Shawn’s passion for sharing the good news, educating children and his desire for everyone to have equal access to the world around them was something he spoke of often. Shawn candidly but so eloquently referred to himself as “walkless but never hopeless.”
The mission of SDPP is to provide increased mobility and independence for children affected by
disabilities. Our vision is to ensure that every walkless child has been enabled with the tool that
affords them the opportunity to take part in everyday activities, despite having reduced mobility.
