It has been almost 1 year since my son, Ross Norgren passed away from the horrible disease of addiction. Since that time, I have been reaching out into the community to share my experiences as a parent of an addict and offering support to those who reach out to me. “Become part of the Solution” is a non profit organization that I am very proud to volunteer with and support. My dear friend, Chris Luginbuhl and his very supportive organization, were always there for Ross when he needed them. I am honored to donate and raffle this quilt to raise money to give back to this organization so that they may continue to help others who suffer from the diseases of addiction and alcoholism. I know this is a difficult time of the year to be asking for donations, but I felt it was an appropriate time for me to do my part, since it is the 1 year anniversary of Ross’s death on December 15. If you are able, please consider purchasing a raffle ticket for this quilt that I made. The tickets are $10.00 each or 3/ $25.00. Ross loved going to visit his grandparents at “Camp DuckyPop” at the Great Sacandaga Lake in the Adirondacks so I thought these fabrics were a special remembrance of my very special son. It is made with lots of love and yes, a few tears. The quilt measures 56 inches wide by 58 inches long.....a perfect throw size. The drawing will be held on his anniversary date of passing through the gates of heaven on 12/15. The winner will be contacted via email ... and the quilt shipped priority mail so you do not need to be present to win.
All proceeds will be donated to “ Become Part of the Solution “ located in Rockville, CT. (www.bpsrockville.com) Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for all of your prayers and continued support. Ross lives in all of our hearts. ❤️
