My name is Roza and that’s my handsome husband Abenezer (AB) and my beautiful mom Elsabet, who has been through a lot in the past seven months. Many of you may not have heard but my mother was diagnosed with bile duct infection and was admitted to the hospital last May of 2021. She was in the ICU and was unresponsive for days. After staying in the hospital for two weeks, the doctors found a cancerous mass in her left kidney. And after a four-week recovery from her first procedure, they did another surgery and removed her left kidney.
During this horrible event, I was not able to work as much as I should since I needed to be at the hospital 14 hours/day. To make matters worse, I accidentally hurt my back while taking care of my mom. It has been hard for my family and me, but throughout this ordeal, the Lord has been faithful, and we thank Him for everything He has done for us. And seeing my mom getting better and stronger every day is one of the many blessings God has given us this year. We are extremely grateful to have her with us today.
My loving mom sacrificed so much for me to be where I am today. Do you know any parents who sell their only house so their child could go abroad, get an education, and fulfill her dreams? My mom did that for me, and I am forever grateful. And I am glad that God gave me the opportunity to be there for her when she needed me the most!
