It is a STEP tradition to launch our annual Christmas Spirit Campaign in November. During this campaign, our service centers and professionals participate in a number of fundraising activities to support local charities and the communities in which we work. The charities are chosen by the service centers and the funds raised help some of society’s most vulnerable – women, children, and families with less fortunate means. This year is no exception and STEP has committed to matching all donations made by our professionals.
I realize that this year has been challenging and that we are all still feeling the impact of the cost containment initiatives. With that said, we also recognize that there are many people in our communities who continue to face financial hardship and many other life altering challenges. I would like to encourage each of you to find your Christmas spirit and donate what you can. Remember…STEP will match dollar-for-dollar, your contributions.
We are pleased to announce the following U.S. charities for 2021:
A portion of the money raised this year will go to the three STEP families who were impacted by tragic incidents this past year. The rest will go to the following charities:
West Texas Food Bank - Midland, Texas
Floresville Food Bank & Resource Center - San Antonio, Texas area
Williston Salvation Army - Williston, North Dakota
Weld Food Bank - Windsor, Colorado
All tickets will be entered into 1 drawing pool with a chance to win a prize. Drawings will go in order from last to first, ending with the Tropical trip. We want to know what prize you are mainly entering the raffle for so we can learn for future Christmas events.
