The Hunt: This will be a 3-day guided Bull ELK rifle hunt for one hunter on the 33,000-acre
Zumwalt Prairie Preserve in Northeast Oregon during the fall 2022 season (dates TBD), including lodging on location at the Preserve. The hunter may bring up to two non-hunter guests. Hunting is entirely on foot and hunters should be in good physical condition. The property contains steep slopes and can be physically challenging to hunt. Recently, hunter success rates have been close to 100% with trophy-quality bulls for this tag.

More about the hunt:On-site lodging is included in an updated historic ranch house with solar-powered electricity, full indoor plumbing (supplied by local spring), and full kitchens.
Food, beverages, gear, and gratuity are not included, neither is transportation to the Preserve, but once there, the guide will provide transportation. For the winner, the tag is guaranteed, but the hunter is responsible for license and tag fees. The hunt takes place during the fall 2022 season only; arrangements must be made by April 1, 2022.
