The Clemson Flying Club is the oldest Flying Club in the United States. Created in 1927, we are the first college organization to design, build, and fly a full size airplane. That plane is in the State Museum today. Our goal is to introduce young men and women to the field of aviation and learn the concentration, discipline, and attention to detail required for the field. As you can imagine, it is costly to operate the club, and we want to offer services to the students at the lowest fees possible.
We have partnered with the Rick Erwin Dining Group to raise money to assist in the operation of the club. Mr. Erwin has donated three gift cards: 1st prize - $200, 2nd prize - $100, 3rd prize - $50 for use at any of the Rick Erwin restaurants.
Raffle tickets are $10 each and we will draw the winners at the Clemson Flying Club spring event on March 12, 2022.
