The Laconia Rotary Club has a mission to serve our community with service above self.  Laconia Rotary is made up of close to 40 members, who live and/or work in our communities and are committed to serving Laconia, the Lakes Region and the State of New Hampshire.   

Laconia Rotary Club was charted on April 27th, 1925 and is one of the oldest Clubs in our District (#7870), which includes clubs in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.  As one of the oldest Rotary clubs in NH, it’s only fitting that we partner with the World’s Oldest Motorcycle Rally, Laconia Motorcycle Week, for our annual fundraiser.  

For 33-years (in 2025), Laconia Rotary’s biggest fundraiser has been a motorcycle raffle, which runs from the winter through late spring, commencing on the last day of the Rally where we announce the winner of a brand-new Harley-Davidson right on Lakeside Avenue in the heart of Weirs Beach (June 22nd, 2025 at 4pm).  Each year, we work for well-over six months selling a LIMITED number of tickets for $20 each for the chance to win the motorcycle.  

Proceeds from the raffle directly benefit our community, including organizations such as, The Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation, NH Veterans’ Association, Boys & Girls Club of Central NH, Got Lunch Laconia, Belknap Mill Society, Gale Memorial Library, Laconia Little League, and many more!  Laconia Rotary has supported the Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation for 67-years with scholarship contributions totaling over $364,500!  Additionally, our Club makes an annual financial commitment to the Rotary International Foundation, helping to provide financial support for global projects, such as providing clean water and emergency shelter boxes to people living in third-world countries.  Our Club’s regular operations are funded through our membership fees; therefore, every penny of our net proceeds from our motorcycle fundraiser goes directly back to the community.

This year's 2025 Harley-Davidson FLTRX Road Glide is boldly beautiful in Whiskey Firestorm with ghost flames and blacked-out trim.  This bike features a 117 Cubic Inch Milwaukee Motor, 12.3” touchscreen, Infortainment system and of course, the classic Sharknose Bagger Design.  New for this year’s bike is the Drag-Torque Slip Control System (DTSCS) feature along with ABS Brakes you’d expect and a Traction Control System (TCS).
