This Valentine's season we are raffling three beautiful homemade quilts to raise money for Collin Bates' life-changing treatment against multiple sclerosis (M.S).

Collin and his wife Cortney have two beautiful children they are raising here in Anchorage, Alaska. Before the disease took hold, he was an active outdoorsman. His joys, hiking, and fishing, even carrying his children, are, unfortunately, behind him. After being diagnosed in 2016, Collin was forced to give up his dream of becoming an officer in the Air Force and medically retired from service in 2017. His mobility and quality of life have only deteriorated since then. It has been nothing less than crushing to see him experiencing the loss, shame, fear, and hopelessness that comes with MS.

Autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) combined with chemotherapy is Collin's fighting chance. He has been accepted into an HSCT program at the cost of $50,000. Our family and friends have raised over $37,000 at this point, and need all the help we can find to get as close to his treatment cost as possible. (not all donations visible through Go Fund Me)

Support Collin and his family by buying a raffle ticket, and delight a loved one with a beautiful quilt for Valentine's day if you win! Each quilt was handmade by generous members of Collin's family, with love and hope in every stitch.

With love and undying gratitude,
The Bates Family
