The Veterans Afield Foundation, a 501(c)(3), is excited to offer a trophy moose hunt in Maine for raffle.  The lucky recipient will hunt during the September 2022 season.  Proceeds will assist in the reintegration and healing process for combat veterans, Gold Star families, and first responders through therapeutic outdoor activities provided by The Veterans Afield Foundation.

The Prize

  • Guided Moose Hunt in Maine

    Prize Includes:
    • Fully guided (1 on 1) bull moose hunt at the height of the rut hosted by Smoldering Lake Outfitters in Bridgewater, Maine.
    • Hunting permit valid for Bull Moose in Wildlife Management District 6 from September 26, 2022 through October 1, 2022.  Permit for archery or firearms.
    • Accommodations include all meals and private lodging for 6 days and 7 nights.
    • Transportation to and from Presque Isle International Airport as well as transportation from the lodge to the field.
    • All licensing, skinning, quartering, caping, and storage of your harvest during your stay.  Firearm rental available by request.
    • Winner may bring one family member or friend to accompany them on the hunt.
    Raffle Rules:
    • Must be 18 or older to purchase a ticket. 
    • Participants must be of legal hunting age in Maine (10 years) and residents of the United States.
    • Ticket sales end June 15, 2022 at 1 PM EST.
    • Winner will be chosen by random selection on June 20, 2022.
    • Winners will be contacted by phone and email provided at the time of purchase within three business days of the drawing.
    • Winners must respond within five business days to claim prize.
    • Any personal and contact information provided will be confidential.
    • The raffle and drawing is being conducted by The Veterans Afield Foundation a Non-Profit under Section 501(c)(3) whose principle place of business is 129 Snow Rd., Bridgewater, Maine 04735.
