Before you come: A license must be held by everyone on the boat. LDWF link https://la-web.s3licensing.com/Home/Info Head to Alligator license. Click Continue. If you have already purchased a LA hunt or fish license search for your record, if it's your first time complete the account. Click the declarations and continue. In the product, catalog click the Alligator tab, click select and add to cart, and check out. Resident $25, non-resident $150 Please contact me if you have any issues. 504-450-6780 Send a copy of the license to [email protected] What to wear: Recommend wearing boots or shoes that you do not mind getting wet, and clothing that you do not mind getting dirty. Keep in mind, the temperatures in southeast Louisiana during August and September tend to be in the mid to upper 90-degree range. A light rain jacket may be needed, but not necessary. What to bring: Sunglasses, Sunscreen of choice, insect-repellant, camera and Recommended change of clothes and towel. A dry bag will be on the boat. *I will provide sandwiches (po-boys), chips and drinks (water, GATORade and soft drinks), life vests and earplugs, safety glasses for shooting and a first aid kit. For safety concerns, no alcohol will be allowed. Firearm and ammo provided* Time: Meeting at the dock for 7:15 -7:30 am Location: 810 Scarsdale Rd, Braithwaite, LA 70040 Google maps (specifically) will bring you down to the right place. Time and Distance: 45 Minutes from the French Quarter -25 miles Agenda: Estimated 7:30am safety meeting on the dock. Leave the dock for 7:45 am Tour of marsh, learn why and how we hunt the American Alligator. Link up with Gator Tom, watch Gator Tom from the boat take the first gator. If you are ready to get in on the action, board the SS Gator Tom, kill and land a trophy gator! We can continue to run lines until 10:30 am and head back to dock to unload and photo ops. 11:30- 12:30 Depart launch for home. After the hunt: Your guide can organize the shipping of gator meat, hide or head mounting. Cost is paid for by the hunter.
