We hope everyone can participate and we look forward to revealing the winner. We're thankful for all our friends and family and we're beyond grateful for your support. For those who might be feeling extra supportive, we also created a "Go-fund-me" and You can check out our story below:

Is there anyone else out there who thought they'd never be married? I've had moments when I actually believed I was meant to be alone, that a life of solitude and single-fatherhood was my destiny. Then I met Natalie on a random night out in Ontario, Canada. We danced, and I was intrigued by her hip movement and Canadian niceness (but mainly the hips). And like a true man of the times, I friend requested her on social media when I returned home. I can't pinpoint the exact moment I fell in love with this woman, but I knew from the beginning that this was something special. The photo above was taken on the Rainbow Bridge. For those who don't know, the Rainbow bridge connects the United States and Canada. On that particular afternoon, we met for 30-minutes before we had to part ways. Our worlds exist in two different Countries, and I told myself (on multiple occasions) this would never work... but I also knew the feelings I had were like nothing I've experienced before.

An Air Force Colonel once told me that choosing a life partner would be one of the most important decisions I'd make in life. I've faced many obstacles in my life,' and I've never looked at one and said, "this is too much for me to handle." So why would I do that with love? We both have family obligations in our countries so it's unknow when we'll be able to unite permanently; but there's no doubt in my mind that she's my life partner. We've decided to choose love in the face of any obstacle.

We're currently planning a wedding (amid covid) and capitalizing on every opportunity to spend time together. We believe life is too short not to make the effort. We also have small children and we want them to know each other. One of my favorite moments was when they met for the first time. It was like they were already family. Now we all know weddings can be costly, but the addition of road trips and plane rides puts an added financial responsibility on our families. We humbly ask for your support in keeping our love alive. In exchange we give you our upmost gratitude, and vow to always be an example of what true love looks like.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story
