The Chili Super Bowl committee has been supporting the Boys Ranch since 1982. This year will be our 40th year to help support the Ben Richey Boys Ranch & Family Program. Over the years, we have had hundreds of volunteers help with this event and have been able to raise just over $2 million dollars for the Ranch to help raise boys to become productive, successful members of society and help provide single mothers and their children a safe environment while they locate resources they need to move toward successful independent living.
As a part of this fundraising event we also have a live auction at the Old Settlers Grounds in Buffalo Gap, Come on out on Saturday day, September 3rd and grab some outstanding items. We also have a raffle taking place on Sunday, September 4th where you can buy raffle tickets online to win some great prizes. See the details on the four items that will be part of this on-line raffle.
Along with all the cooking teams, we have our own Chili cooking team made up of Taylor County EMS volunteers, Dyess We Care Team Volunteers and others. H-E-B helps sponsor the world's largest chili pot. So come on out and join in the fun and good food!
We appreciate your support of this event. Ben Richey Boys Ranch & Family Program is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. This year the organization is celebrating its 75th anniversary! Wahoo!
