The Prizes
Deluxe Head-Lok Throwing Tomahawk by The Hawken Shop
Donated by Greg Roberts and The Hawken Shop. Valued at $95
S. Hawken Plaque - Donated by Paul Fennewald and Bob Vogt
Here is the description that Paul was given by the original owner: "The plaque was conceived by Greg and Claudette Roberts, the current owners of The Hawken Shop. T If I were to take a guess, I would think that the idea of it was probably one of Claudette's, as I think she is more the artist than Greg. I would say that Greg is more the gunsmith and the gun builder. It was, I think, mostly a commercial venture, and a way to celebrate Samuel Hawken's birthday. Strangely enough, I do not recollect their doing anything for Jacob Hawken's birthday. I am sure that Greg would be able to fill you in completely at the celebration."
This quote is from John Shorb, Morro Bay, CA was a friend of Greg Roberts years ago.
