    FoLCD is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit with a mission to further support the dogs and staff at Lucas County Canine Care and Control. This is accomplished through education, canine enrichment, and fundraising for meaningful shelter purchases.

The Prize

  • Doggies in the Window Quitled wall hanging

    Doggies in the Window is a beautiful hand crafted quilt, made with love by artist, Janet H, as a "labor of love" in honor of her passion for rescue dogs who "give us endless love."
    All proceeds from the raffle of this quilt will support LC4's efforts to find homes for rescue pups across Lucas county.  Friends of Lucas County dogs also provides programs such as Rescue University, K-9 enrichment for LC4 and supports medical and supply initiatives for the shelter.
