We also believe that social issues that directly affect our neighbors, should be handled by our community. And there is nothing more important to us than our children,. Each year local churches and organizations offer a program called The giving Tree. This program allows children to make requests for Christmas gifts. A lot of these children are in situations by no fault of their own where they may not receive a single Christmas gift. Since we deal directly in support for people with substance abuse issues, we understand the of these choices directly affect the children. By doing it this way we are able to help the people in our neighborhood and see the results almost immediately. Unfortunately government organizations get too big and cost too much which leads directly to a lack of results, if anything ever happens it may not be seen for years. As a society we hate when an animal is suffering or punished. That feeling mainly comes from the belief that that animal doesn't deserve that situation, that animal has not made poor decisions to lead to a bad situation or a direct result not taking care of their responsibility. We Believe that also is true with children.
