What’s up good people it’s time! Ive been praying super hard on what to do with my baby and here we are. If you are new to me and my channel let me give you a little back story on how this car entered my life. About 5 years back I decided to pursue a career at painting cars. I started with literally a dream and Youtube at the time, no experience whatsoever. After countless hours of watching footage I decided it was time I actually got my hands dirty. My 1st stop after gathering all the equipment the YouTuber dudes said I needed I headed to the junkyard. There I found an old fender to practice on. I took that fender back to my shop and I swear I must’ve painted it 100 times trying to working out all the kinks and learning hands on alone. Finally one day, I got it right! From there of course I couldn’t stop I just had to get my hands on a whole car to attempt. Of course I couldn’t just go out and ask family could I “Practice” on their cars who in their right mind would ever let me do that lol. So I went on the hunt and thats when I ran across this little red Cavalier in the back yard of an older lady’s house. After conversation I found out she was the only owner of the little red Cavalier and with just 80,000 miles I just had to have it! It was literally perfect for my new journey in life. After inspecting it I found that the front Cradle frame was rusted out which made the car NOT road worthy at all. We made a deal and there I was the owner of an old non driving Cavalier. Sound crazy, but I was absolutely geeked mainly because I knew the goal. Now it was time to get her roadworthy before I could ever paint it. Searched high and low for a new front Cradle and finally found one! Rust free out of Indiana for $600 and the shop charged me around $600 to put it on. After a week in the shop I finally had a chance to drive her. I absolutely fell in love! 😍 straight to the paint store I went to gather up all the materials I needed to attempt to paint my baby! Weeks go by every free second I had I swear I worked on getting the body straight as youtube taught me. Paint day finally came around. I wet the floor to keep the dust down and went at her with everything I had! Did I do a flawless job Heck no! But what I did do was attempt something I never tried before and with knots in my stomach I completed the mission! The first car I ever painted which kicked off a great chapter of my life that most people dream of! I’m super grateful for that chapter but, like all good things I've grown to see better. I kept this car stashed away swearing I would NEVER get rid of it for all the sentimental reasons above but, truth is I can’t keep holding on to old baggage. This car helped me through a phenomenal phase in my life and its time I let it go in hopes that it helps someone else through a phase in their life! Hate to see it go but, Its Beyond Bigger Than Me! Is this car perfect NO! Does it have its minor issues YES! Is this car reliable YES! Im not advertising this car to be perfect at all but, this baby will for-sure get you through and that I know from experience! Gas prices are through the roof and insurance is incredibly high and this car is exactly what you need at a time like this! Below are the pictures i took today 4/1/26 and at the bottom are some random pictures I still had from a little while ago. All of the decals are removable you would have to remove them when you win!
