On April 17, 2023, Jessica will be running the Boston Marathon. She is running for the March of Dimes: Healthy Moms and Strong Babies. She is running in honor of her nephew who was born premature. When you donate, you support parents throughout their pregnancies, help to end preventable maternal health risks and death, end preterm birth and close the health equity gap for every family.
On April 23, 2023, The Point East Boston Barre and Yoga will participate in Yoga Reaches Out. Yoga Reaches Out harnesses the power of the yoga community to give the best treatments to kids at Boston Children's Hospital. Through Yoga Reaches Out, we will use our passion for yoga to help the sickest kids and their families find answers and hope—at Boston Children’s, where our stunning breakthroughs have already saved millions of lives. Every dollar you raise fuels groundbreaking research, family supports, and vital services not covered by insurance through the hospital’s Every Child Fund. Angela has selected this event, because her 4 year old daughter is a patient at Boston Children's Hospital. Her daughter will be receiving life saving treatment in the next few months. Your donation will make an impact to young patients and their families through the Boston Children’s Hospital Every Child Fund. You’ll advance promising research, care for kids facing complex illness and give parents supports that enable them to stay by their child’s side.
If you are interested in attending Yoga Reaches Out and joining The Point EB Team on April 23, 2023 at Gillette Stadium. Yoga Reaches Out Yogathon brings together over 1,000 participants, marketplace vendors, sponsors, and volunteers from all over to enjoy a day of yoga, fundraising, and empowerment. Top New England teachers lead the morning session, and a well-known headliner leads the afternoon.
