The Hockey Ireland U16 Girls are talented young women training hard to compete in the 4 Nations Tournament at Easter in Aachen, Germany, and the 8 Nations Tournament in In July in Granada, Spain. They have eleven training weekends between now and July and are working hard to have the best possible start to their international campaign. This talented group of international athletes get no funding from the Irish Government. Therefore, the girls and their parents are responsible for raising the funding required to prepare for and attend these tournaments. We have been advised to expect total costs of over €80,000. This raffle is a big part of our fundraising. We have great prizes for you, from shop vouchers to training experiences with international athletes and hotel weekend stays and golf course access. By buying a raffle ticket, not only do you get a chance to win an incredible prize, but you will also be supporting the girls' sport as well as future elite Irish athletes.
