"Imagine One's Dream"
"Imagine One's Dream," a limited edition print signed and dated by Darren Jones, a Chicago artist and brother to Rotary International President Jennifer Jones, will be raffled off at the 2023 Rotary District 6690 Conference, to be held on April 28th-29th in Columbus, Ohio. Donors to PolioPlus Fund of The Rotary Foundation will be entered in a raffle to have a chance to win this limited edition print – the winner will be announced at the end of the District Conference on Saturday.

Where possible, your ticket purchase will be posted to The Rotary Foundation as a PolioPlus donation on behalf of the Rotary Member who purchases the ticket(s).  You NEED NOT be present to win!  This is a great way to help get family and friends involved with Rotary’s fight against Polio.

The "Imagine One's Dream" original painting was a combination of acrylic paints, industrial staples, shredded studio paperwork, plaster and beach sand painted on wooden panel.  For this piece, Jones started with beach sand from their family cottage in Ontario and pieces of paper he shredded and used from the Rotary website including the "Objects of Rotary” and the “Four Way Test."  After he finished layering these textures, Jones began the color process by literally applying paint to his hands and then onto the canvas.  The color palette was inspired by the colors of Rotary and the Presidential theme. "The gradient shading is also done on purpose to create a more landscape emotion, representing the horizon we all walk towards!!" Jones stated.

The numbered print includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity and is valued at $800.  It would be a beautiful addition to a home or office to reflect the importance Rotary plays in the lives of people around the world.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help The Rotary Foundation continue its polio eradication efforts.
