Chapter 5 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (“EAA Chapter 5”) is offering a chance to win a luxurious, first-class trip for four to attend the Paris Air Show in June 2025!

Chapter 5
Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility: You must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
2. Geographic Restrictions: Void where prohibited by law. This raffle is not valid outside the USA. It is your responsibility to verify that it is legal to participate in your location before purchasing a ticket.
3. Ticket Assignment and Delivery: Each raffle ticket will have a unique number assigned by the raffle program. The ticket number will be emailed to the purchaser’s provided email address. EAA Chapter 5 is not responsible for lost or misdirected email. If you do not receive your ticket number within 24 hours, please check your junk mail folder. If it is not there, contact EAA Chapter 5 at
[email protected]. Raffle tickets are transferable, and can be purchased and given as a gift. Once ticketed airline tickets are NOT transferable.
4. Raffle ticket sales will close on May 1st at noon
5. Winner Selection: The winner will be chosen randomly from all sold tickets. The winner need not be present at the drawing. The drawing will take place on May 3, 2025, at 6:00pm EDT, at Geauga County Airport in Middlefield, Ohio.
6. Winner verification: After the drawing, the winner will be notified immediately and must confirm their identity within 48 hours. If the winner cannot be verified within that time frame, a new winner will be randomly selected from the remaining tickets until a valid winner is confirmed.
7. Final Determination of Travelers: The names of those traveling must be confirmed to the travel coordinator before 5:00pm EDT on May 6, 2025. Tickets will be issued based on the names provided. All travelers must have a valid passport with an expiration date beyond December 2025.
8. First-Class Tickets: The winner will receive first-class airline tickets where available. The first-class tickets will be arranged from the winner’s nearest commercial airport. However, if smaller commuter flights are needed to connect to a larger airport offering international flights, it’s important to note that first-class seats may not be available on these smaller aircraft.
If a traveler wishes to extend stay beyond travel and hotel dates, specified; they must advise the Trip Coordinator at least 30 days in advance of ticketing and provide valid credentials (Passport copies/Document numbers). Once ticketed, traveler(s) will be responsible for paying all airline ticket change fees.
9. Prize Conditions: No cash option is available. The prize is contingent upon the winner signing an acceptance agreement and liability waiver. The raffle is subject to the terms outlined in this legal document.
10. Tax Obligations: The prize value is approximately $100,000. The winner is responsible for all applicable tax based on the value of the trip.
11. Discretion: These raffle terms and conditions are subject to interpretation by the EAA Chapter 5 Board of Directors. THIS RAFFLE IS VOID OUTSIDE THE USA AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. THE RAFFLE IS OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC, BUT BOARD MEMBERS OF EAA CHAPTER 5 AND THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILIES ARE EXCLUDED FROM PARTICIPATION.
