Brady Duncan has been recently diagnosed with brain cancer. He went to emergency room with complaints of blurry vision and headaches and was scheduled for surgery the very next day. He underwent a VP Shunt to help alleviate fluid build up on his brain due to a tumor that was found through imaging. He will have to undergo chemotherapy and radiation to treat germinoma, the type of brain cancer he has. This has come as a shock to the family and his community considering he was otherwise a very healthy 14 year old. Brady is an 8th grader at Brother Martin who excels in school, a big brother to a younger brother and sister, a nephew, the first grandson in our family, an athlete of all sports, a sports enthusiast, and just an overall amazing young man. The road ahead is going to be to hard one, but a beatable one! The money will go towards helping the family out. Medical bills, help with the other siblings, and household bills are a few examples. "
"Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it." Brady, his family members, and medical team remain optimistic and confident in the fight ahead to overcome this hardship. Brady CAN and Brady WILL.
