The “Talented Tenth” is a fundraising event to acknowledge and elevate a group of young men of color from the World of Inquiry School (#58 School) and the School of the Arts (SOTA) who are learning their purpose through the concept espoused by W.E.B. Du Bois, “The Negro race is going to be saved by its exceptional men”. Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of these young men in a 4th of July 2023 Black-tie Gala at The Strathallan Rochester Hotel & Spa – a DoubleTree by Hilton rooftop ballroom, 550 East Avenue, Rochester, New York 14607. Enjoy VIP options, grazing stations, a signature drink, succulent desserts and raffles, along with a performance from Award-Winning Smooth Jazz Musician, Marcus Anderson, a live DJ, dancing and a private, spectacular view of the City of Rochester fireworks.
