We are raffling off our 1968 489 Bitchin Camaro to raise money for 3 ALS organizations. We desperately need to find a cure for this devastating disease. More people die from ALS than are diagnosed with this horrible disease every year. THIS IS NOT A RARE DISEASE!!!  When I was diagnosed last April, I knew we had to do something to help these organizations help others in the ALS community. We recently held a kickoff concert fundraiser with a local band for Team Gleason. More Than 50% of all male cases of ALS are Military veterans. A large number are also former professional athletes! Steve Gleason, a former New Orleans Saint, has been living with the disease for 11 years. I know from what I am living with, those 11 years have been no cakewalk, yet he still soldiers on. A real hero!! John Driskell Hopkins of Zac Brown Band was diagnosed December of 2021 and founded Hop On A Cure.
The ALS Association Greater Philadelphia Chapter's mission is to discover treatments and cures for ALS, and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.
