The Fallen Outdoors Team Alaska is pleased to offer the Alaska Governor's Tag for Chugach Mountains Brown Bear Permit (SB470).

The Governor's Tag for Chugach Brown Bear is a coveted prize by itself; however, The Fallen Outdoors Team Alaska has transformed this opportunity into an all-inclusive Chugach Mountain Brown Bear Hunt Raffle that includes a 10 day fully guided 1-on-1 hunt with horseback transportation, a custom-built rifle by Double Broom Mountain Rifles, and a specially selected gear package. You'll be hunting the beautiful Chugach Mountains within pre-established boundaries in Chugach State Park, Game Management Unit 14C. Team Alaska are even covering the guide tip and adding money for taxidermy and travel.

Most importantly, by purchasing a raffle ticket, not only are you supporting TFO Team Alaska and our mission to help fight suicide in the military community by getting them outdoors on hunting, fishing, or other activities, you are also contributing to conservation efforts and conservation education for our generation and future generations to come.

Drawing will be held March 2, 2024, during The Fallen Outdoors Team Alaska 5th Annual Banquet, at the Marriott Hotel in Anchorage Alaska. One winner will take ALL, a prize package worth over $45,000!

The Prizes

  • Grand Prize - Governor's Brown Bear Tag Permit SB470 for 2024

    The winner will receive a Governor's Brown Bear tag for the Chugach Mountains, permit SB470. A complimentary hunting license for the season, a big game locking tag, and the permit. The hunt is open to Alaska residents and non-residents.

  • Guided Hunt with Rogue Expeditions valued at $23,000

    This is a fully guided 10-day Brown Bear hunt with Rogue Expeditions. 
    Team Alaska will work with the winner throughout the whole process.
    • September 17 - 30, 2024, you'll be supported by your guide who has many years of experience hunting the Chugach Mountains.
    • Horseback transportation to and from base camp, with lodging and camp meals.
    • Trophy field care and prep.
    • BONUS - $2,500 guide tip paid directly to the outfitter.
    The hunt is open to both residents and non-residents. Winner will receive a complementary hunting license for the season, big game locking tag, and the permit.

  • Custom Rifle w/Leupold Scope & 100 rounds of custom made .300 PRC valued at $9,150

    Steve Hallenbeck with Double Broom Mountain Rifles has crafted the bear hunter's dream rifle specifically for TFO Team Alaska. The rifle is a custom .300 PRC caliber in a Defiance anTi action. A 26"  Mission Specific Worldwide LLC custom color wrapped Alaskan contour Bartlein carbon fiber barrel and equipped with a muzzle break. A McMillan hunters edge stock with TFO logo engraved and Trigger Tech diamond adjustable trigger. Atop this dream rifle is a Leupold VX-6HD 3-18x44 CDS-ZL2 side focus, illuminated Firedot duplex reticle scope with lightweight aluminum Talley rings. The gun smith is even including 100 rounds of custom made .300PRC ammunition to go along with the rifle.
