Hi! My name is Aiden Collins and I am a junior at Shiner High School (formerly from Friendswood).

I was nominated to audition for an opportunity to participate in the Honors Performance Series in New York City and was chosen for the Symphony Orchestra. The week will consist of rehearsals and learning with fellow youth musicians from around the world and end with a once-in-a-lifetime performance at Carnegie Hall in February

As a Junior, I am involved in our HS band as first chair tuba and recently returned from my 3rd trip to UIL State Marching Band Contest. I have been a part of numerous honor bands in 6 year band career, including ATSSB All State. I am iservice Co-chair in NHS as well as active in Student Council. I am also the junior class treasurer. I am currently working 2 jobs and participate in various volunteer positions in my community.

As you can imagine, the trip comes at a high cost, so I am working to raise funds to help offset the expense.
